Debates

My debate was today and i done it in 4th period.
My partner kept saying that she was not even close to ready and that she had no facts, so of course that boosted my confidence and made me not work as hard as i would have...
I think that she did that on purpose because she did really good, way better than she made it sound... but that is just theory.
but i guess that the class thought that we both did a pretty good job considering that we got a tie.
but unfortunately, i got no votes for just me winning, and she got 11, but there was more votes for that we did equally good... so that is a plus because me and my partner are pretty good friends and we both dont want to be selfish, so we were both hoping for a tie, which we got.. and i am perectly happy about that... but i would have at least wanted some votes... just to make it even. and to make me a little bit happier also.
but so far, until this class, my day has been pretty good! i just dont like sitting, staring at a computor screen for a whole hour.. i need to remember my glasses because it gives me a big headache not being able to focus on anything clearly... but i will have to deal with it. =[

My Weekend...=)

Soo my weekend went pretty great.. on friday, my mom got a kitten from this old smelly guy at safeway... the kitty is really cute but it smelled like B.O.! gross! We also had our neighbors over for dinner and we gave the cat a bath. He is all black and we dont know what to name him...
I want to name him Salem from sabrina the teenage witch, but my mom doesnt like it.. she wants to name him ninja, which i particularly dont like, and some other name that stands for black cat in some other language, but it is so weird that i dont even know how to begin to spell it.. but any ways, we had fun for dinner and then the following night, they invited us for a bbq... it was funny.. My dad was helping bellas dad fix up this old go-kart that they bought for her little brother, and they went back to my house to get a part (cause my dad has like all the parts of a car in our garage ={) and while they were gone, our other neighbor says that he found a black sheep in his yard... and my dad knew that it was our sheep so when they went BACK to my house, our other sheep Mia was out... weird. we dont even know HOW they got out.. but whatever, any ways, on sunday, (you probably dont want to know this) but our pigs got killed and taken to the butcher.. =(  i stayed inside because last time, well, it was really sad and i cried, so i didnt want to go through that again... haha... Then, after dinner, we hear this loud lawn mower type noise and it turns out that it was bella and her brother on the go-kart... ahaha it was funny, (a you had to of been there moment).. and...
that was my weekend... i know, long and boring, but i have nothing else to do,.... so, how was your weekend?

I have been wondering....

Has anyone ever about when they snap their fingers, where the noise comes from? like if it comes from your finger and your thumb rubbing together, or if it is from your finger slapping against your palm?... cause i was just thinking about that today and i still dont know... but i have a good idea that it is your finger hitting your hand... but rachel thinks the other reason and i want to know why.. so if you have any idea or something... comment. i would love to know what you think...
i know that this was kinda random, but it has been bugging me.. lol

Okay... sam went to comment on my blog and it said that my blog doesnt allow comments from annonymous users... so i switched my settings things to  allow annonymous users and then she posted her comment, but it didnt pop up on my blog... so i went to my dashboard and clicked on "comments" and then went to my "spam inbox"...

Today I,...

So far today i,
got up (but i didnt want to), got dressed (still half asleep so it took me a couple of tries...hehe)
Tried to eat breakfast (but someone ate my honey bunches) ..so i had and orange and an oreo
Got ready for school and then went to the busstop...
since my busride is like an hour long, i listened to music until nicoles stop.. but she didnt get on :(. so when i got to school, i couldnt find anyone to hang our with until i found marz.. we went to the library and then strolled around in the commons and then went to class... after that horrible sorta easy end of course exam test, i went to stem. Mr. hacket was our sub so we didnt do anything cool, mostly just hung around the classroom and talked to people about stuff...
Then i went to fitness... (not my most favorite class) and we (not me)_voted to play EXTREME duck duck goose... it was weird. i didnt like to run around and chase/be chased and lay next to kids i dont even know.. but it was funny watching people fall!!
4th period, we went to the computor lab and worked on debate packets (i didnt get much done) and that was basically it for that...
At lunch, people (not saying any names) were throwing almonds at us and one landed in my ketchup and it was so random and funny.. then a bunch of stuff started raining down on us and it was pertty funny! at lunch i bought some sea salt and vinegar (which i dont usually like) and sam bought cheddar sunchips... anyways, we were a little curious and tried them together.. it sounded really gross but it wasnt that bad...well now im in 5th period (which you probably already knew that) and im typing away anything that comes to my brain...and that was basically my day so far... ohh yah has anyone ever tried ketchup chips from lays? they sell them in canada and they are pertty good but noone has tried them...

My Week...

Okay, well on tuesday, i was really nervous and i didnt feel ready to take the end of course exams today, tomorrow and the next day... so first period math, i studied a little, then in navigation, i went to the library to studie with a group of people and then in fifth and sixth period, i studied in ms. blairs room... i worked on math for a long time yesterday and im glad that i did. because the end of course exams was a breeze... just because i studied.. In ms sullivans class, we have debates... they are not that fun.... and i wasnt here on thurday or friday of last week to do them, plus my partner wasnt here for fourth period and i really needed her... luckily, she came back during lunch.. my topic is "abortion- should it stay legal?" and i am against abortion being legal... i dont think that i will win because my partner is a really good public speaker and i am not... i hope people wont make it a popularity vote, because i know i wont win... well, over my partner.. hahaha... probably. so yah, that was my week so far.. not very exciting i know i just needed something to blog about...
